Low-Cost Replacement Ink

Epson’s EcoTank design eliminates the need for traditional disposable ink cartridges.

According to Epson’s supplied estimates:

• 4 x 6-inch photos cost about 4 cents each
• Traditional cartridge-based printing can cost about 40 cents per 4 x 6-inch photo
• Replacement ink bottles can save up to 80% compared with ink cartridges
• Epson estimates approximately $2,000 in savings per replacement ink set
• One set of ink can print up to 6,200 color pages
• Each included or replacement ink set can provide up to 2 years of printing, depending on usage

Manufacturer claim: Savings, page yields, photo costs, and estimated ink life depend on usage, print volume, image coverage, media, and other conditions.

Zero Cartridge Waste

The high-yield ink tank system is designed to significantly reduce cartridge waste. Epson states that each replacement ink bottle set is equivalent to approximately 100 individual ink cartridges.

Convenient EcoFit Ink Bottles

Epson’s EcoFit ink bottle design features uniquely keyed bottles for easier filling of the appropriate color tank.

For optimal performance and print quality, Epson recommends using genuine Epson ink. The manufacturer states that non-genuine ink may cause damage that is not covered by the printer’s limited warranty.
